Terms and Conditions

1. To confirm your booking at The Chettinad, electronic signature of a contract and a 30% rental deposit are required. Rental deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. The contract is sent and signed electronically in a few clicks.

2. The balance payment is due no later than eight weeks prior to arrival at The Chettinad.

3. Refundable Security Deposit : 1500€

4. Cancellation Policy

   Rental Deposit : The rental deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable.

   Full Payments : For bookings paid in full and then cancelled, the following applies:

• More than 8 weeks before the start of the retreat : 100% refund minus the deposit.

• 4 to 8 weeks before the start of the retreat : 50% refund minus the deposit.

• Up to 4 weeks before the start of the retreat : No refund will be given.

It is advisable to take out travel insurance in the event that you are obliged to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances.

The above terms and conditions refer solely to retreat bookings. Different terms apply to private summer rentals during July and August.
